Ever had that feeling where you wish something could be just a bit different, a bit more personal?
That's where my dream began: to reshape how we think about women's physical therapy.
Imagine being more than just a patient, but a valued member of your own healing journey.
Instead of focusing solely on the end result, let's embrace the whole you, treating every facet of who you are.
More than just ticking boxes for insurance, let's connect on a personal level, giving you the time and attention you truly deserve.
And why stop at healing? Let's weave in wellness and prevention right from the start.
Because physical therapy shouldn't feel like a daunting checklist. It should be a comforting journey of growth, understanding, and yes, even joy.
I'm here to create a space where you can heal not just physically, but mentally and spiritually, too.
Let's change the narrative together, making your health a priority and celebrating every step of your wellness journey.
About Me
My journey as a physical therapist is fueled by a genuine love of learning.
After graduating from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, I was lucky enough to start my career at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. There, I began my post-graduate studies in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, trained on the treatment and management of lymphedema through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, and helped launch a brand new program.
Fast forward a bit, and my husband's residency (he's the podiatrist next door to our current location) took us to the Brazos Valley. There, I got to build another new program from scratch at CHI St. Joseph, focusing on pelvic floor and lymphedema care. Plus, I created a special Breast Cancer Wellness Program, offering free education to at-risk women. I even started treating kiddos and supporting expecting and new moms. I fell head over heels for Bryan-College Station—it's vibe, it's people—it became home sweet home.
But life has a way of surprising us and we found ourselves back in Houston.
This time, I joined the incredible team at Texas Children's Hospital, diving even deeper into my passion for treating chronic pelvic pain and supporting women on their motherhood journey.
2020 rolled around and brought a new chapter—my husband opened his own practice in Cypress. Inspired by his leap, I opened my own practice. A year later, I became a Maternal Support Practitioner, specialized in supporting women and their partners during the birth experience.
I'm truly passionate about what I do. Helping women embrace their powers as healers and advocates lights me up. If there's one thing I want you to know, it's this: you don't have to go through it alone.
Your health matters, and together, we can make sure you get the care and support you truly deserve.
Because no symptom is too small to talk about, and every woman deserves to feel her best. (And you're so much more than kegels.)
I'm here for you, every step of the way.
